Chef Krista VanWagner is a new concept born from her original brand, Krista’s Caribbean Kitchen.
Together, Krista and I re-branded her business for the following reasons:
1. Krista specializes in more cooking styles than just Caribbean cuisine, she felt trapped with only cooking and sharing Caribbean inspired dishes when she wanted to share so much more.
2. Krista’s transition into what would be considered a ‘personal brand’ allows her to showcase all of her skills and knowledge, including her restaurant industry experience and teaching.
3. Re-branding to ‘Chef Krista VanWagner’ now presents authority of who she is and what she offers.
4. Krista’s’ name is recognizable. She has made a local name for herself and is considered a Buffalo culinary icon. Her name appears first in the most popular search engines and her successes have been published in numerous news publications and magazines. Krista has also participated in local cooking shows and competitions that have aired live on TV around Western New York.
5. Krista’s Caribbean Kitchen’s Jerkalicious and Hellicious hot sauces are a locally recognized item that can only be purchased through Krista directly or at specialty stores that carry it. The brand, Chef Krista VanWagner, leverages her prior success to promote her hot sauces.
